Before you read this report I have to tell you that this report does not carry a bullsh*t warning, no persons were harmed making this report and I have to say some things you are going to read you may not quite believe at first.
I am going to tell you about a striker who could not hit a barn door with a blunderbuss a couple of days ago now netting a hat-trick.I am going to tell you that Arsenal turned the deficit of a first round European loss to a win for the first time in over thirty odd years. I am going to tell you our keeper who used to play like Stevie Wonder suddenly thought he was a world beater.
I am going to tell you about a player who was booed off the pitch last season for being rubbish was tonight running the whole length of the pitch to receive the ball, checking his run to stay onside, sell the keeper a dummy, round the keeper and slot in a goal.
I am going to tell you about a player lots of fans have been asking why he plays at all, scores a potential goal of the season with “Unbelievable Tekkers” and a man of the match performance.Yep, I am going to tell you that this was a quirky night all round and may have been just the performance that we have been looking for to gel and ignite this team for the very first time and with top players missing including the returning van Persie.
What a great night to be a Gooner, some of the best football we have seen for a while, and two dribbling stars (Arshavin and Nasri) who would have even made George Best raise an eyebrow. Where do we start? The scoreline is emphatic, you put five past anyone in the Champions League and you have to be seen as a serious contender to lift the trophy as on their day, the Gunners can beat ANYONE!

This match was played after the the importance of the result was known from the early start Chelsea v Manchester City which saw Chelsea take a surprise 2 – 4 defeat at home, the first home defeat since Arsenal beat them 15 months ago.
With Terry’s hand of friendship being snubbed by Wayne Bridge at the Bridge, Pulis and Wenger were in no mood to reconcile their differences either, in fact the butting of their heads started a few days earlier when Wenger was asked about Stoke’s threat he said that 15 of their 17 goals came from set pieces or from the aerial bombardment from Delap’s throw in, and just smirked.
That smirk told a million words, it said unless Stoke get any free kicks or throw ins in the Arsenal end they will not score. They also asked about the physical side to the game, Wenger didn’t answer, just slightly shook his head wincing at the prospect of the physicality of the challenges his team will be subject to and what the match was probably going to be like.
Arsene still does know because that was exactly what happened.
Aaron Ramsey suffered a horrific broken leg at Stoke City which overshadowed a 3-1 victory which put Arsenal right back in the race for the Premiership title.
The 19-year-old midfielder crumpled in a heap after a horrific foul by Ryan Shawcross, which earned the Stoke centre-back a straight red card in the 66th minute.
Arsenal maintained their pursuit of Premier League title favourites Chelsea and Manchester United after finally gaining a 3-1 victory over Burnley at the Emirates Stadium.
Goals from Cesc Fabregas, Theo Walcott and Andrey Arshavin secured the points but the Gunners made it a lot harder for themselves than it should have been.
Burnley's only goal came from David Nugent and that lone effort was enough to generate nervousness amongst some of the home fans until the game was finally put to bed by Arshavin.
The Gunners began brightly and had two good chances to take the lead inside the first four minutes, it looked as though it was going to be a goal-fest for the Gunners who seemingly opened up Burnley at will.
The first chance came when Nicklas Bendtner was put through by Fabregas on the right side of the area. The Gunners striker was too slow and allowed a defender to get a touch on the ball to clear it and the second was when the Danish striker never quite got the ball under control and his tame shot was palmed away by Brian Jensen.
