Martin Taylor sent off after 2 minutes foul on Eduardo ( Broken Leg )
Goals - McFadden ( 28 mins & 94 mins pen) Walcott ( 50 mins & 55 mins )

Is there any room in Premiership football for this type of career threatening tackle ?
It spoilt what turned out to be a great day for Theo Walcott who got two impressive goals to help take Arsenal 6 points clear at the top of the Premiership.
Arsenal were very slow and sluggish from the kick-off, and everything ground to a standstill when Taylor lunged in and snapped Eduardos leg. Fabregas looked especially shocked at what he'd seen, but it really was no excuse for what went on to be a very dull performance from what we thought was a title winning team.
These are the games that champions win, but to be frank, the Gunners just didn't look at the races against ten men Birmingham. The passing just wasn't sharp enough, and there seemed to be endless balls lobbed up towards Adebayor to try and chase, gone was the silky passing moves and pin ball accuracy. There were a few moments of superb play and dominance, but the whole team seemed to lack the killer touch, it was more of a stroll towards a win instead of a race. It is refreshing to write positively about Theo Walcott, he's been criticised of late for being to weak and forgetting to take the ball with him, but this afternoon...
He put in some miles and took his goals well, his first an opportunistic poachers goal inside the six yard box, the second a Henryesque zip-run-fire-low-into-the-corner cracker that we see too few of nowdays.
There isn't much else to write in a positive note about Arsenal, Adebayor was guilty of being selfish in front of goal instead of passing to an unmarked Bentner to make it 3-1, chances were few and far between, and then in injury time Clichy made a rare mistake. Defenders should be trained to just boot the ball away from their goal mouth, they should also be taught to look over their shoulders to see who's behind them. Clichy dithered in his own box, the ball was poached off him, he stuck out a toe and touched the ball, but he also took out the man and a 94th minute penalty was awarded. It'll be debated all day, should it have been a penalty ? Well, it doesn't matter because it was given, McFadden put it away and Arsenal dropped two points.
Yet again the travelling Gooners were probably the best performers this afternoon.
