Reproduced with kind permssion from Mark

What a lot of people seem to be failing to understand is the difference between enjoying a victory at the time and reflecting upon it later. We have to remember that the adrenalin rush of being there or watching your team win an important game, especially when that emotion is shared with others around you is obviously a very heady mix and can make you forget that you are a rational adult, i.e. I don't normally go around jumping up and down and hugging guys who I have never met before in my
life just because they are wearing an Arsenal shirt.

Yes at Cardiff beating the mancs was funny, because we so did not deserve it, and that just made it funnier. Telling their muppet fans that they should have won but tough sh** was great too, but not long after that game you think more rationally about the performance and you realise that it was very poor and that without the slices of luck that all teams get every now and then you should have been battered and would have had no excuses either.

Copenhagen was brilliant, what a great victory, but you will hardly watch that game on video for purely footballing reasons now if you could watch Milan thumping Barca 4-0 in the European Cup Final instead. Maybe it's a question of the heart ruling the head
sometimes?

Years on, when you think about supporting the team, you will remember the brilliant football performances more than the grinding out of 1-0 wins. I certainly remember the 7-2 demolition of Wednesday at the end of the 92 season more than either cup final a year later. This is why fans remember the teams we have been discussing and why we will remember most of Arsene's teams in decades time, whether we get back to winning ways or not.

Obviously every one of us wants to see the team win, it just appears some are a little more concerned with how and no, that does not mean that adjusting the style, tactics and personnel is not the answer, nor that AW has made mistakes and that we are entitled to question him.
