UEFA Champions League Preview

Bayern Munich v Arsenal 15 February 2017

It’s that time of year again, the hacks have got their knives out and Arsenal are going to do their usual crash out of the UEFA Champions League. Well this year is different, we have better players, we have players with mettle, we have players with experience, we have winners and we have fighters. Here is an interesting 10-step plan put together by The Telegraph which is quite amusing. Some of it might be right, some of it might be wrong, what is evident is the amount of effort put into publishing this, The Telegraph, closet Gooners? 😉

@bro_arsenal : “FT Arsenal 31 Stoke City. Feels great to keep on winning. Good to have Hector back as well. Mustafi might be the only worry. Onto next one.”

@Ayourb : “Game Over… Arsenal 31 Stoke City Top of the Table Mustafi Injury Bellerini returns to action. Another good day in the office.

@LyTuManiac : “we got this lads , i predicted a 31 against

All in all it was a goodish game, Stoke City are always pretty hard to play against because they are not very skillful so they usually resort to pushing and stamping.

Charlie Adams knows what he’s doing here, this was no accident but yet again it seems that nothing is going to be done about it. #patheticFA

The Gunners toyed with Stoke City for most of the game, going up through the gears when they wanted to, then sitting back and becoming punch bags when they seemed to need a rest. Arsene really does have a great bunch of players to choose from this season, all that is required is consistency every game rather than the usual stop/start misfiring amble that we are seeing a lot of nowadays. “Why do we always seem to have to go behind before we start playing?” is something we hear a lot in the Supporters Club.

Next up was a trip to Everton which will be reported on next once we’ve calmed everyone down as it didn’t go well.

Win, lose or draw, we support Arsenal evermore.
